Our Staff

OzArk has an enthusiastic team of highly qualified staff with a great mix of academic and field experience across a broad range of archaeological, ecological and community consultation fields. We have in-house legal advice and GIS expertise and have staff located in Dubbo, Queanbeyan, Armidale and Brisbane ensuring that our services are easily accessible across NSW and south-east Queensland. Staff also travel to remote locations in Queensland (Wet Tropics, Gulf Country, Brigalow Belt North, Far South-Western, Far Western) and remote western NSW (Corner Country).

Position Vacant: Ecologist &/or Senior Ecologist

Due to our rapidly expanding work commitments OzArk Environmental & Heritage Management is seeking to expand the ecology team and seek applications for the role of Ecologist and/or Senior Ecologist to join our dynamic and friendly team. This position is both challenging and rewarding; well-suited for an individual who is a motivated self-starter, has technical capability and a positive approach to teamwork.

Core tasks will include biodiversity impact assessments, flora and fauna surveys, ecological monitoring, reviews of environmental factors, biodiversity management plans, CEMPs and tendering. Our project sectors include public infrastructure, mining and extractive industries, rural land development, as well as some research and conservation projects.
